Le Mans

We needed little persuading when we were offered the chance to race a classic car at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. When we discovered the car in question was a 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza, once driven by motorsport legends Phil Hill, Carrol Shelby and Jim Hall, we had to pinch ourselves. With Ace Robey at the wheel, the experience was thrilling, not least when keeping the insurance figures and the conspicuous lack of a roll cage in mind. Incomparable in performance to a modern race car, but at almost 70 years old, the masterful engineering and sheer beauty takes your breath away.
