Lola T492

1978 / SONOMA RACEWAY, CA

A race tuned track car from 1978 that routinely outperforms it’s contemporary rivals. From legendary British race car builder Lola, the T492 offers a seemingly simple package with outlandish performance. A fully built SOHC 2.0 litre engine with dry sump, twin 48mm. Shifting through a Hewland five-speed manual transaxle and a Quaife limited-slip. Riding on Koni double-adjustable coilover shocks. Raced by RS founder Ace Robey to consistent success, primarily at its home track, Sonoma Raceway, California.
