One of 500 cars produced for the UK to homologate Ford’s entry into Group A racing. An immediate and resounding success on the track in BTCC, across Europe, and into Japan. An unmistakable silhouette, with its double rear wing to ensure ground contact at speeds of up to 300km/h. The striking looks, glorious acoustics, and the legend of its driving performance gave the ‘Cossy’ an instant cult following that endures to this day. Urban myth tells they were near impossible to insure in the UK, such was the desire to steal a joy ride in one. This example, fully restored at our workshop in California, retains all of this character.
