Ford Mk2 Cortina GT 1600
1968 / 2022 FULL RESTORATION
In the late 1960s, The Ford Cortina was arguably the most ubiquitous family sedan in Europe, and particularly the UK, where it was build in vast numbers. A solid family car that, in true Ford style, was ripe for performance upgrades. This fine example found its way to California and into our workshop in January 2022, with near perfect original body and paintwork, it was treated to a full mechanical restoration. Specced with a 1.6 litre Ford Crossflow engine featuring twin 40mm Webers, Quaife locking differential, Gaz adjustable suspension, polyurethane bushings, custom front Wilwood brake kit, and 13” Minilite wheels. Race prepared with a half cage, and OMP seats up front.
